Recently, based on the study demand of many graduate and doctoral students who want to know how to inquire dissertation of both inside and outside the university, FED Programme Coordinator, Dr. Shao, invited the university librarian to hold a training workshop on dissertation inquiry. This training workshop mainly introduced the dissertation inquiry channels of City University as well as some other universities located in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, etc. In order to facilitate students to learn and master how to inquire the dissertation, the librarian made a very detailed speech, explained one by one, and demonstrated the specific methods of the dissertation inquiry in different regions. In addition, this training workshop also briefly introduced the dissertation inquiry channels in different areas, such as North America, the United Kingdom and Europe. This training workshop attracted many graduate and doctoral students from FED and also form Portuguese-Speaking Countries Institute. Many participants expressed their wiliness to join more pragmatic academic activities, which would be much more beneficial to their research and dissertation writing.
