On September 7, 2018, City University of Macau were honored to invited the Prof. Jin Meifu, Professor in the Graduate School of Education, Tianjin Normal University, attended CityU Education Forum. As a guest speaker, Prof. Jin shared her research topic "A Study on the Method of Learning Client's Self Certification", and introduced "Self Feedback Report Method according to teaching and learning" in detail.

     Throughout the lecture, Prof. Jin Meifu mainly from three aspects communicated with everyone presented--- the content, the reason, and how to research "Method of Learning Client's Self Certification". And emphatically introduced the "Self Feedback Report Method according to teaching and learning", which constituted the philosophical basis and principle of epistemology. Prof. Jin said, the topic “Method of Learning Client's Self Certification”is a research topic to get the evidence of “learning client” is learning. The research result of this topic is "Self Feedback Report Method according to teaching and learning". After the speech, postgraduates showed they have benefited greatly, deepened understanding from it and how to research the topic detailed and some methods. Prof. Jin devoted her life to research Husserl Phenomenology and teacher’s education. In the final Q&A session, Prof. Jin not only answered all their questions in detail and exhorted students to choose research direction prudently by her experience. When we choose one, we must stick to academic ideas and take the root of knowledge, view the topic selection as our mission.

     Finally, Li Shuying, the academic dean of our school, shared three realms of life that inspired by scientific methods——other-prove, self-prove, non-prove. Other-prove is recognition, self-prove is also recognition, but non-prove needn’t to be testified. In the meantime, students are also looked forward to reading more classical academic books about Rogers and Husserl, which increase self-thinking ability and lay a solid foundation for us.
