On February 28, 2019, it was a great honor to invite Dr. Chen He, the principal of Kao Yip Middle School, to attend the CityU Education Forum in the Golden Dragon Centre. Dr. He held the lecture which was entitled The Ten-Year-Development Trilogy of Macau Kao Yip Middle School. A group of teachers and students attended this lecture, so the atmosphere of academic exchange was very strong.

Dr. He’s speech was vivid and wonderful, he told us his valuable experience in education in Macau and the mainland, especially emphasizing the importance of culture in education. Besides, Dr. He also shared the situation of Macau Kao Yip Middle School when he was just came to Macau, and then how this school developed gradually. In the course of school development, the management policy, the teaching methods, the curriculum and so on all underwent a big change. Dr. He still mentioned that the innovation was so significant for school development and each school should find the most suitable innovation way.

The brilliant speech inspired the teachers and students. In the question-and-answer session, Dr. He communicated actively with the teachers and students, and they exchanged opinions seriously. In the end of the lecture, the teachers and students benefited a lot.
