Following the research semester activities of the previous two months, the School of Education continued to hold seven academic lectures and workshops with diverse themes from July to August, injecting a strong academic atmosphere into the summer campus and further expanding the research horizons of faculty and students. With the successful holding of the final lecture on August 14, the research semester series of activities for this semester came to a successful conclusion.

On July 2, Assistant Professor Dai Yi gave a lecture titled "Let's Make a Beautiful PPT and Excel Data Presentation Together," focusing on practical data presentation and teaching skill development to enhance the practical abilities of future educators. On July 16, Assistant Professor Cheng Yihong shared on the theme of artificial intelligence literacy measurement and tool development, and engaged in in-depth exchanges with faculty and students on related frontier topics. On July 23, Professor Zhang Quan, drawing on years of experience in educational measurement and assessment research, systematically introduced the core methods of test equating and item analysis, and demonstrated the application value of Rasch-GZ software in educational research through practical cases and data analysis. On July 30, Associate Professor Zheng Longwei used large language model analogy-based pre-service teacher training technologies as an entry point to explore new directions for AI-empowered teacher education.

The series of activities in August was equally exciting. Associate Researcher Wang Xuenan from the National Institute of Education Sciences was invited to give a lecture on "Artificial Intelligence and Basic Education Reform," combining her rich educational research experience and practical achievements to deeply analyze the opportunities and challenges facing basic education development in the context of artificial intelligence. Subsequently, Dr. Xiao Yawen, an alumna of the School of Education, gave a special lecture titled "Decoding Inner Psychological Projection: Mechanistic Explanation of Emotion Recognition and Systematic Construction of Psychological Self-Healing", guiding faculty and students to deeply understand emotion recognition mechanisms and psychological self-regulation methods through a combination of theoretical explanation and interactive workshops.

As the grand finale lecture of this research semester activity, Professor Hugo Duarte Alves Horta from the University of Hong Kong shared on academic paper submission and publication strategies from the perspective of a renowned scholar in the field of international higher education and editor-in-chief of an academic journal. Drawing on years of editorial review experience, he provided detailed introductions to international journal selection, paper writing, and considerations during the submission process, offering valuable references for faculty and students in conducting future academic research and enhancing international publication capabilities.

This stage's series of lectures closely followed frontier topics in the field of education, covering multiple directions including research practical skill enhancement, artificial intelligence education innovation, psychological education research, and international academic publication. Reviewing the four-month research semester series of activities, the content combined theoretical depth with practical guidance value, not only building a high-quality academic exchange platform for faculty and students but also further creating a strong research and educational atmosphere, broadening faculty and students' academic research horizons, and injecting sustained momentum into the School's research development and high-level discipline construction.
