Programme Structure :
Master of Teaching and Learning Studies Programme offers two areas of specialization: Curriculum and Teaching, and Information Technology and Teaching.
Credits Required for Graduation: 33 with the following breakdown
1. 18 credits from Table I: Core Courses;
2. 6 Credits from Table II: Elective Courses (two subjects from one Specialization).
3. 9 credits for Table III: Project Report.

Graduation Requirements
To complete the course, students must complete a total of 33 credits:
- 6 compulsory subjects: 18 credits;
- 2 elective subjects: 6 credits (2 subjects from the chosen specialization);
- Project Report: 9 credits.

Programme Features
The Master of Teaching and Learning Studies programme at the City University of Macau is the first master's program in Macau to focus on "teaching and learning" as its primary area of study. It is specifically designed for professionals who aspire to teach in primary and secondary schools, enhance their teaching capabilities, and engage in educational innovation. The courses emphasize research on teaching practices, highlighting practical operations, flipped classrooms, and the integration of smart educational technologies. Instead of a traditional thesis, the program adopts internationally recognized action research based on teaching projects or practical teaching research reports, making it a unique and distinctive program among higher education institutions in Macau.
