To fully showcase the academic learning outcomes of master’s and doctoral students and build a platform for academic interaction between teachers and students, the 2025–2026 Postgraduate Academic Achievement Exhibition of the school of Education, City University of Macau, was successfully held at the Golden Dragon Campus from April 28 to 30.

At the opening ceremony, Professor Cheng Liying, Dean of the Faculty of Education, delivered an opening speech, elaborating on the Faculty’s school-running philosophy and educational mission, and setting the tone of equal emphasis on academics and practice for the exhibition. Subsequently, Associate Professor Zheng Longwei introduced the event agenda and arrangements, noting that the exhibition serves as an important platform to assess postgraduates’ learning effectiveness and facilitate academic exchanges between teachers and students.

The achievement exhibition was organized in three sessions, covering three degree programmes: Doctor of Education, Master of Education, and Master of Teaching and Research. Centering on core professional courses including Educational Quality Evaluation and Improvement, Doctoral Thesis Preparation, Educational Research Methods, and Teaching Evaluation, the event comprehensively displayed the teaching and learning outcomes of postgraduate students at the Faculty.

On April 28, doctoral students in Education gave presentations themed Educational Quality Evaluation and Improvement, with five groups delivering excellent academic sharing in sequence. The course Doctoral Thesis Preparation was presented through poster displays and on-site interactive evaluation. The whole session was filled with a strong academic atmosphere with lively in-depth discussions.

On April 29, the special session for Master of Education students was held. During the presentation segment, Assistant Professor Zhang Jiawei first introduced the teaching objectives and presentation requirements of the course Audio-Visual Teaching Material Design. Each group then delivered a ten-minute outstanding presentation in turn. In addition, Assistant Professors Ouyang Baixiao and Zheng Peiwen introduced the design background of posters for their respective courses. Teachers and students toured around the exhibits for in-depth exchanges amid a vibrant academic atmosphere.

On April 30, four selected groups from the Master of Teaching and Research programme gave formal presentations. Students viewed posters from other teams, offered comments and scored each other’s works to promote mutual learning and internalize professional knowledge. Participants systematically presented their theoretical research findings and practical exploration experiences gained from coursework, fully demonstrating solid academic foundation, rigorous research attitude, and profound professional thinking in education.

Going forward, the Faculty will continue to hold such academic exchange events, further improve the talent cultivation mechanism, help postgraduates enhance their comprehensive academic literacy and practical innovation capabilities, and promote high-quality development of teaching and academic research at the Faculty.
